HI, I’m Emily

I set up WILD YOGA in 2021, inspired by nature and all we can learn from venturing outside. I draw upon this in my practice, finding strength in the more grounding poses, rooting down to stretch and grow.
I teach Yoga in St. Albans, Hertfordshire and London in-person and online.

I practice because … For me, Yoga is a way of life. Whatever I learn on the mat, there is always something I can relate and apply to daily life. It is a way to connect back to my body and mind, and to integrate healthy wellbeing rituals into my week.

I teach because … I love sharing Yoga with others and passing on these sacred practices in the hope that it offers tools to navigate life with a bit more strength, peace, ease and consistency.

My Approach

  • I teach a strong and anatomically informed Vinyasa* Yoga.

  • I weave in some of the origins of Yoga Philosophy to honour Yoga’s roots, and include different breathing and mediation techniques.

  • You will be worked and stretched, helping you feel revitalised but rested, experiencing that ‘post-yoga-glow’.

  • I hope my classes offer tools to help you gain physical awareness of your mind and body and knowledge around how to rest and recover.

*Vinyasa is simply a Sanskrit word for Movement with breath. A free and playful practice focusing on flowing the poses together in tandem with inhaling and exhaling.
